🎬 Bionic Buzz® interviewed actor, director, producer, and writer Griff Furst over Zoom to discuss the new scripted horror anthology series humAIn, the viral fake AI company behind the project, the show’s unique alternate reality game marketing campaign, and much more.
humAIn is a groundbreaking horror anthology series from New Power Studios that debuted exclusively on YouTube. The series launched through an immersive six-week alternate reality game that convinced audiences they were interacting with a real AI company before revealing the truth behind the mystery.
Created and written by Griff Furst, humAIn explores modern AI anxiety through self-contained horror stories where technology isn’t the villain—human nature is. Each episode follows a different protagonist who encounters humAIn’s technology at the moment they believe it will solve their biggest problem. The technology works exactly as promised, but the consequences reveal uncomfortable truths about the people using it.
In this interview, Griff discusses:

📺 Why YouTube was the perfect home for the series
🎬 His work as a writer, director, and producer
