Bionic Buzz® covered South by Southwest 2026 in Austin, Texas, where we interviewed Amit Palgi, director of CYCLE XR.

We discussed the inspiration behind the project, how virtual reality can help audiences reflect on the repeating patterns and cycles in their own lives, and the creative process behind blending dance, performative art, and immersive visuals into one unique experience.

About CYCLE XR:

CYCLE XR explores how VR can reveal the patterns and cycles in our lives. By merging performative and visual arts, the project addresses the universal looping of time, bodies, and lives. With dance at its core, CYCLE XR invites audiences to sense their own life cycles and their connection to cosmic rhythms.

Through virtual production, the creators built an endless space that magnifies daily cycles, death, and birth, encouraging visitors to ask: how do you shape your life cycle?
