VidCon, where the world’s leading digital creators, platform innovators, and their fans converge in one place, wrapped up its 2023 event season drawing 85,000 attendees and more than 600 Featured Creators globally across events in Anaheim, São Paulo, Mexico City and its first ever East Coast event, VidCon Baltimore. As the company continues to evolve its approach to live-events that engage with fans, emerging creators and industry professionals, VidCon will return to California for the 13th year of its flagship event from June 26-29, 2024 at the Anaheim Convention Center. The 2023 show in Anaheim took place in June and welcomed 55,000 attendees across four days, up 10 percent year over year.

VidCon Baltimore, which took place Sept 28 – Oct 1, brought the culture of the creator economy to life in Charm City with a keynote from Christian Tom, Assistant to President Biden and Director of the White House Office of Digital Strategy, and the first-ever “Industry Leadership Summit” co-hosted by Jacques Keyser, Programming Director, VidCon and industry expert Jim Louderback. The exclusive gathering of top influential creator economy experts and creators invited attendees to discuss critical industry issues in an off-the-record environment.

Fans swarmed the Convention Center to meet their favorite digital creators in real life and attend panels featuring top talent from across gaming, beauty, lifestyle, accessibility, political advocacy and more including Merrell Twins, Ranboo, Molly Burke, Doctor Mike, La’Ron, SeanDoesMagic, and Kalen Allen, along with 15 local Baltimore creators including Rich Black Guy, Jordan Ramsey, and Danielle Sylvester.

On the expo show floor, attendees experienced a range of branded activations from brands including PBS, Sune, and MilkPEP. PBS’s booth allowed fans to interact with the animatronic spy creatures that will be featured in the upcoming “Spy in the Ocean, A Nature Miniseries” premiering October 25. Sune, a new next-generation video shopping platform, brought its mobile app to life IRL with four rooms, each portraying an element of the brand and breadth of product assortment available on the app. Attendees had the chance to win prizes and swag and participate in an Aura Photo experience from @aura.portal.
