Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures, a leading Central Florida nature-based attraction, was presented with the Henry Flagler Best of Show Award for “Virtual Reality Takes Boggy Creek to Travel Partners Worldwide” and a Bronze Award for the new virtual reality program as “Resource/Promotional Material – Trade” during the Awards Dinner this week for the 2023 Florida Governor’s Conference on tourism at Rosen Shingle Creek Resort.

The Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures Reality Program was created to increase sales and business with international and domestic tour operators.  From afar, they can walk through the park and experience the Butterfly Exhibit, Gem Mining, and Educational Area, plus go on an exciting airboat ride. “Now they can actually see what we have to offer, even if they haven’t visited us before,” explained Nick Romeo, Director of Marketing, Sales & Events for Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures.

“This prestigious Henry Flagler Award is huge for us!  It helps bring us to a whole different level, to get our park information to guests before they even arrive.  We say thank you to Starmark for their creative knowledge in developing this program for us to use.”

Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures has been providing airboat tours since 1994 with its unique Real Natural Florida style tours in search of the American Alligator. The nature-based attraction, located within a natural 32-acre lakeside park serving as the headwaters of the Everglades, also features an on-site BBQ restaurant and a separately ticketed Native American Village which demonstrates how native Indians survived on the swamp. Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and now also offers corporate outings, birthday parties, educational programs and weddings.
