Universal Studios Hollywood has delivered incredible Halloween Horror Nights events in the past, but 2026 may be its best year yet. Every haunted house felt top-tier, and even the scare zones offered the detailed environments and intense scares you would expect inside a house.

We enjoyed all eight haunted houses, but we know it can be difficult to experience everything in one night. If you are short on time, here are Bionic Buzz’s top five must-see attractions at Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood:

1. Terror Tram Featuring Art the Clown 🤡

Art the Clown takes over Universal Studios Hollywood’s world-famous backlot for a terrifying Terror Tram experience. Coming face-to-face with the Terrifier icon while walking through the War of the Worlds and Psycho sets makes this our number-one must-see attraction of the night.

2. Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness 🤘🦇

This incredible haunted house features wild animatronics, memorable scares and an unexpectedly touching tribute to heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne. It is both a celebration of his iconic career and a genuinely thrilling horror experience.

3. Hellraiser ⛓️

Hellraiser brings Pinhead and the Cenobites to life with intense scares, disturbing imagery and several unforgettable moments. Fans of the franchise will not want to miss the opportunity to step inside its terrifying world.

4. Killer Klowns from Outer Space 🤡

Colorful, bizarre and incredibly fun, Killer Klowns from Outer Space perfectly captures the cult film’s outrageous personality. Its elaborate environments, sinister Klowns and effective jump scares make it one of the most entertaining houses of the event.

5. Dead, Deader, Deadest 💀⚰️

An original haunted house earns the final spot on our list! Set inside the Deville Family Funeral Home, the horrifying story centers on Ambrotox—a supposedly miraculous embalming drug engineered to restore the lifelike appearance of the deceased without traditional preservation methods. As guests soon discover, its disturbing side effects are anything but miraculous.
