The newly reimagined Studio City nightlife destination brings new life to the former home of the legendary Oil Can Harry’s. Owners Katie Cazorla and Grammy-winning producer Walter Afanasieff have transformed the historic space into an intimate Art Deco-inspired showroom and speakeasy-style tiki lounge featuring live comedy, music, karaoke, and special events.
ABOUT THE STARLIGHT CABARET
Located in the heart of Studio City, The Starlight Cabaret brings new life to one of Los Angeles’ most storied nightlife destinations. The venue originally opened during the 1950s as the Zomba Room and later became the legendary Oil Can Harry’s in 1968, establishing itself as part of the fabric of L.A. nightlife for generations.
Reimagined for a new era, The Starlight Cabaret honors that legacy with an intimate Art Deco-inspired showroom and speakeasy-style tiki lounge. The new venue presents live comedy, music, karaoke, and special events while preserving the character and history of this iconic gathering place.
