Alt-pop/rock band, Missyou, is exclusively premiering their brand new single and video “notthatdeep” today on Substream Magazine! Give it a spin/watch here. The single is now available across streaming services including Spotify and Apple Music.
“notthatdeep” is the first single off of the band’s forthcoming sophomore EP, which is slated to be released in 2020.

On the track, lead vocalist and brains behind Missyou, Blaise Beyhan shares:
“This song is built on the idea that things don’t always work out, but you have to keep pushing. It’s important to try and sometimes even if you don’t succeed, the beauty is in the journey, and the lessons you learn in failing are sometimes the ones that teach you the way to prevail. We have to be better for each other, for the planet, for the ones that come after us.”
New York-based four-piece, Missyou, combines a broad spectrum of musical influence and pulls inspiration from film and visual arts. Every picture and sound they create is a part of a broader story. Ominous, sexy, dark – these are the words that describe their music. “Music brings you back or forward in time. The journey can be trying, and your music can be your wings or your anchor,” shares Beyhan.
