Bionic Buzz® covered VidCon Baltimore at the Baltimore Convention Center in Downtown Baltimore, MD. This is the very first VidCon on the east coast! VidCon is where the world’s leading digital creators, platform innovators, and their fans converge in one place. It’s the magic of online creators in real life! VidCon is where everyone involved in that online magic comes together, in real life and in real time. The creators, the fans, the brands, all of us in one place — sometimes gathering in-person in cities all over the world, and sometimes connecting virtually. But always completely in-the-moment.
There we got to interview Hotep the creator of Black Lions and Cubs. It is a family friendly, multi-media anime movement of art and culture. The brand is centered around a retired Nubian Warlord and his 2 young sons who follow cryptic clues and battle sinister enemies in ancient ruins around the world as they attempt to settle an ongoing battle between 2 neighboring Egyptian pharaohs and a queen who is caught in the middle. On July 17, 2023 we hosted a history-making launch party to introduce our first: cartoon, videogame, album and comic all on the same day.
