Bionic Buzz® covered the San Diego Comic Con 2024. There we interviewed Eric Bauza (Voice of Woody Woodpecker, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck & Tweety), Bob Bergen (Voice of Porky Pig and Speedy Gonzales), Jeff Bergman (Voice of Elmer Fudd, Sylvester and Yogi Bear), Jerry Beck (Animation Historian) and Neal Sabin (MeTV Vice-Chairman) in the MeTV Toons press room. It is the new TV destination for the greatest classic animation of all time.
MeTV Toons is a broadcast television network that launched on June 25, 2024. It’s a spin-off of the classic-TV channel MeTV and is owned and operated by Weigel Broadcasting in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery. The network’s programming consists of animated content from the 20th century to the mid-2000s, including repeats from Warner Bros., Hanna-Barbera, Paramount Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Universal Pictures, and UPA.
MeTV Toons also features some puppet shows and stories about the people behind the cartoons, such as Tex Avery and Chuck Jones. MeTV Toons is available over-the-air digitally, and some say it can be streamed through online services like Frndly TV. Most broadcast antennas should be able to receive the signal, but performance can vary depending on distance from the transmitter and the configuration of your home.
