Last night Bionic Buzz® covered Fandom’s San Diego Comic-Con 2023 after party at the float at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego, CA. I had an absolute blast that left an indelible mark on my Comic-Con experience. From the moment I stepped through the doors, it was evident that Fandom had gone above and beyond to create a memorable night for fans of all things geek.
The ambiance at the Float was electric. The lighting, sound, and visuals transported us into the heart of pop culture. It was a thrilling and immersive experience that made me feel like I was part of something truly special. The atmosphere was vibrant, inclusive, and welcoming to fans of all ages.
There were fun activations surrounding some of pop culture’s biggest titles, including Paramount’s Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Yellowjackets and EA’s upcoming video game release Immortals of Aveum, releasing this summer. Sponsor Z2 Comics was back with custom comic activations, as well as Pinfinity with a one-of-a-kind augmented reality collectible pin for party guests
Fandom pulled out all the stops when it came to entertainment. From live music performances to DJ sets that had the dance floor rocking, there was never a dull moment. The lineup of performers was impressive and catered to a wide range of tastes, ensuring that everyone had a great time. K-pop group NCT DOJAEJUNG headled the party, their first North America live performance. The group also has a new original graphic novel, NCT 127: Limitless, with Z2 Comics.
The cosplay at Fandom’s After Party was a sight to behold. Attendees went all out, showcasing their creativity and passion for their favorite characters. It was a fantastic opportunity to interact with fellow fans and admire the incredible craftsmanship that goes into creating intricate costumes.
The catering was exceptional, with a delectable array of food and drinks that catered to all tastes. The themed cocktails were a hit, and the culinary offerings were both delicious and creatively presented. It was clear that Fandom paid attention to the details to ensure a top-tier dining experience.
Fandom didn’t skimp on swag. Attendees were treated to exclusive merchandise, collectibles, and giveaways that served as fantastic mementos of the night. These tokens of the event will continue to remind me of the incredible memories made.
