Disney+ and Hulu are the new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title holders for the world’s largest gingerbread house.
An official judge from Guinness World Records was on hand to verify the record and confirmed that the house, measuring 44,838 cubic feet, was a new world record.
The creation was built in only 8 days and designed as the iconic McCallister home. It stands at a whopping 34 feet long, 58 feet wide, and over 22 feet tall, and is constructed out of 4,200 gingerbread brick tiles and almost 1,800 roof tiles.
This holiday showstopper is made from 7,350 pounds of all-purpose flour and over 6,600 eggs, all held together with 20 gallons of edible glue and finished with 10 pounds of fondant.
Fans can visit the gingerbread house in person tonight, December 19, from 4:30 – 9:30 p.m. at Hollywood & Vine (6301 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, CA 90028). Guests are welcome to stop by any time, or they can reserve a ticketed time slot online.
Visitors can also help create holiday magic during their visit by donating a new, unwrapped toy to Toys for Tots.
This year marks the 35th anniversary of Home Alone, and viewers can enjoy the entire franchise, now streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.
