Star Trek announced today that franchise legends George Takei (Star Trek), Rebecca Romijn (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds), Tig Notaro (Star Trek: Starfleet Academy; Star Trek: Discovery) and rising star Karim Diané (Star Trek: Starfleet Academy) will appear on the previously announced customized float at the 2026 Rose Parade® on January 1, 2026, in Pasadena, California. This will be the first major moment of the historic celebration of the 60th anniversary for Star Trek in 2026.

The Star Trek 60 “Space for Everybody” float will honor six decades of storytelling that have inspired generations around the world. From back to front, the float features the iconic starship U.S.S. Enterprise rising above an array of Star Trek planets. Local Los Angeles landmark Vasquez Rocks is featured prominently at the back of the float, paying homage to its role as a frequent Star Trek filming location, with interactive transporters adorning the center of the float.

The float will also spotlight the upcoming new Paramount+ series Star Trek: Starfleet Academy as their campus rises above the float as the newest addition to both theStar Trek universe and the classic cityscape. The side of the float boasts the Star Trek 60 logo in honor of the franchise’s 60th anniversary, while front and center is the renowned bridge of the U.S.S. Enterprise, where the Star Trek actors will be stationed for the parade.

Designed by artist John Ramirez and brought to life by Artistic Entertainment Services (AES), the float continues Star Trek’s tradition of innovation and imagination; this time through breathtaking floral artistry.

As Star Trek celebrates its milestone anniversary in 2026, the franchise invites fans everywhere to join in honoring “Space for Everybody,” a vision of a future filled with hope, exploration, and courage to boldly go forward together.
