The Reel Awards were quite the sight. Starting with the red carpet, to the Awards show itself. Dee Hanson who was portrayed as Joan Rivers interviewed each star with the same excitement as the last. Most of the press were local to the area, but the stars were from all around the world. The Golden Nugget in old town Las Vegas was beautiful, and made for the perfect venue to host these awards. These awards meant so much to the impersonators, it was heartwarming to see their hard work pay off. Boy George had an amazing performance, if I didn’t know better I’d think he was the reel deal. Marilyn Monroe’s award acceptance speech was very moving. Frank Sinatra’s singing was amazing and really took you back in time. Check out more photos below from it. By Staci Bull
