Bionic Buzz® got to cover the red carpet of An Evening From The Heart LA For The John Ritter Foundation at The Avalon Hollywood Theater in Hollywood, CA. Hosted by Amy Yasbeck, Steven Weber, and Tyler Ritter, the event commemorated the John Ritter Foundation’s 20 years of impact and John’s life-saving legacy. Many famous faces attended including Kaley Cuoco, as you know, in 2003, the world lost John to a tragically misdiagnosed Thoracic Aortic Dissection. Although preventable, thousands of people die every year from the lack of awareness of this critical medical emergency.

The John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health was created to raise awareness of Thoracic Aortic Disease through genetic research, education, and advocacy. Funds raised for this mission ensure that we can continue to share vital information with medical providers, at-risk families, and the often ill-informed and underserved communities across the globe.

John’s career spanned decades, most notably for his starring roles in the classic tv sitcom Three’s Company, 8 Simples Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter, Clifford The Big Red Dog, and Stephen King’s 1990 mini-series IT. His feature films include Slingblade, Skin Deep, Stay Tuned, Bad Santa, and Problem Child 1 and 2. John received many awards throughout his esteemed career, including a Primetime Emmy, The Golden Globe, and The People’s Choice.

Our host Virag Vida got to interview Amy Yasbeck (Chairman and Founder of The John Ritter Foundation), Tyler Ritter (Board Member of The John Ritter Foundation), Martin Spanjers (Actor from 8 Simple Rules & True Blood), Ken Davitian (Actor from Borat & S.W.A.T.), Larry Gaiters (Actor from Back to the Future & Back to the Future Part II) and Priscilla Barnes with Ted Monte (Actress from Three’s Company & Jane the Virgin).
