Peanut butter and jelly, shoes and socks, macaroni and cheese, Cobra Kai and Whiskey A Go-Go!? These are all things that go together perfectly. Last night Cobra Kai composers Zach Robinson & Leo Birenberg performed music from the hit series live at the world famous venue on the sunset strip. While I couldn’t name any of the song titles for the music, I could easily tell you what scene the music was from in Cobra Kai. The whole night felt like an actually episode of Cobra Kai. I keep picturing “Johnny Lawrence” hanging with his friends from the 80’s there drinking Coors Bandquet. Especially when actor William Zabka joined Zach & Leo on stage to perform with an acoustic guitar. Many of the cast & crew of the Cobra Kai were in attendance. I actually didn’t think I would last the whole night. This was my fourth event covering that day and I’ve been on my feet all day, mostly for being at E3 Expo. However the concert was so amazing that I stayed to the very end. Other wise I would of missed them closing with Joe Esposito ‘You’re The Best’ from The Karate Kid.

Hope Zach & Leo do this again. Maybe a club tour? I know plenty of Cobra Kai fans online messaged me to say they wished they could see this but didn’t live in the LA area. Check out our photos below from the concert. You can buy / stream Cobra Kai Season One score here and Season Two here.  You can buy the Long Box Limited edition CD from LaLa Records here. Zach & Leo performed with the following musicians:
