Shadow The Earth is hard-hitting numetal & hardcore punk band out of Gainsville, FL area. Made up of Nadira Cary – vocals,  Jesse Stambaugh – Guitar, Chris Hewitt – Drums and Torge Rempe – Bass/Cello.

With one of Florida’s best heavy female singers, they draw influence from artists like Deftones, Beartooth, Of Mice & Men, System of a Down, (Hed) P.E., Sevendust, Nonpoint and Korn. Today they drop their newest single ‘Breathe Clear’ on ReverbNation.

The song is about racism. Jesse wrote the song a few months ago when the band decided to take on an African-American female lead singer. Jesse “one of those stereotypical things people want to look at and judge people because of what they look like.  I took that and turned it into a positive vibe and change it around and let her (Nadira Cary) put the words out for everyone to hear”

They have upcoming shows at Hangar 7 in Lake City, Florida on April 12th & 13th. April 20th they will be performing at 1904 Music Hall in Jacksonville, FL for AXIOM – Portraits of Tomorrow CD Release / 420 Bash.
