Gritty In Pink will launch the All GRL Jam: Emo at the Gibson Showroom Los Angeles on Thursday, September 7 at 7:00 PM in West Hollywood. The event is free and open to the public with RSVP.
All GRL Jam: Emo will feature 50 women and non-binary musicians covering your favorite Emo anthems. The Jam is held in partnership with Gibson, along with support from Gibson Gives, Women In Music, Tunecore, Owl’s Brew, El Cristiano, Waterloo, Keep A Breast, Guitar Girl Magazine, Live Nation Women, Roland, and Gritty In Pink’s new talent hub to hire women in music, INPINK.
The showcase will feature musical sets from original Emo Nite co-founder DJ Babs Szabo. During the first hour, women can receive professional headshots courtesy of non-profit organization Women In Music. The night will be co-hosted by Gritty ringleader Shiragirl and rock siren Xtine Reckless (Xtine & The Reckless Hearts).
Attendees can expect a fantastic lineup of women and non-binary musicians covering Emo artists and anthems. The All GRL Jam will include the metaphysical Sterling Victorian (3Blackkids), hybrid DJ, percussionist/vocalist Chastity Ashley (Duran Duran, Tom Morello), singer/model Chel, singer/songwriter Lele Rose, veteran guitarist Kat Dyson (Cyndi Lauper, Prince, Sheila E), tech popstar Wrenn, edgy pop-rock/guitarist Ariel Bellvalaire, fire-fueled performer BodaciousThang, dark pop artist Coyote Eyes, whimsical pop singer/violinist Jasmine Crowe, the electric Atara Glazer, Gritty Musical Director Lisa Bianco (Lauren Ruth Ward), alternative pop artist Jayelle, southern rock songstress Dani Hagan, drummer Alexa Rae (Liliac), singer/voice actor Mia FluxXx, Chicago-bred triple threat Shanice Antonia, and many more.
