Bionic Buzz got to attend an advance screening event of DC Comic’s Aquaman at the RealD Headquarters in Beverly Hills. The event was hosted by director & content creator Wuz Good who has partner with RealD 3D. He showed off the film to social media influencers. RealD 3D is a digital stereoscopic projection technology made and sold by RealD. It is currently the most widely used technology for watching 3D films in theater cinemas. Worldwide, RealD 3D is installed in more than 26,500 auditoriums by approximately 1,200 exhibitors in 72 countries. So you can find one near you at an AMC here. Spoiler Free Review! Aquaman is one fun ride! To me, its the best DCU movie. Yes better then Wonder Woman, sorry the terrible 3rd act of that movie did it in for me. Jason Momoa carries the movie with great lines, comedy moments & tons of fun slow turn superhero pose shots. Great digital effects, at times it felt like Tron or Lord of the Rings under water. The 3D was amazing! A lot of times when I see a 3D movie, I forget I am watching it in 3D. Mostly only notice it when there many layers in a shot. Since this movie takes place under water a lot throughout the film, you notice and experience the 3D a ton. For you horror fans of director James Wan, there are some fun horror elements to the movie. I will warn you that it is kinda scary for young viewers. I wouldn’t take my 5 year old daughter to go see Aquaman. The only down part of the movie is that the story could of been a little less predictable. Either way Aquaman is a must experience in theaters and especially in RealD 3D!
