Tonight we got to attend a collectors meet up at That’s from Disnyland! a pop exhibit and auction put on by Van Eaton Galleries. All these items are from one giant collection from one passionate Disneyland fan named Richard Kraft. On Aug. 25 and 26, Kraft and Van Eaton Galleries will auction off each item in the collection. Until then, the pop-up gallery is open to the public and free, however there are some special events that are ticketed. It is located at the old Sports Authority store in Sherman Oaks, CA by the Westfield Mall with plenty of free parking. Kraft has been collecting for over 25 years and there is so much history in his collection. Everything from maps, artwork, props, ride vehicles to even Disneyland trash cans. Disney legend Bob Gurr (pictured below with his wife) who was an imagineer that designed the ride vehicles at Disneyland including Autopia, Haunted Mansion, the Monorail, Submarine Voyage and the Matterhorn Bobsleds was special guest this evening. He took photos with people inside an old Skyway gondola. If you are a passionate Disneyland fan this is a must for you. Visit now to August 24th.
