Designer Con is a convention that is for anyone passionate about toys and the designers & the artists who make them. Most artists at the event just do low run of his or her toys/artwork. The event features 350 vendors and 150 plus artists. I remember first going to D Con when it was free and only had about 30 some booths. Its fun to see cons grow over the years. Only problem is that it took me a while to find parking this year. So many lots were full when I got there in the afternoon. Here are some pictures from the convention.

See the sites of Designer Con 2016 along with in prompt interview with designer & artist Paul Frank. Where we ask him his passion in life besides art.

I was excited to find some VR at Designer Con 2016. Oculus had their VR Scuplting on hand to demo. It was a lot of fun. You can watch video here on our twitter of me trying it at the con. While waiting in line, they let everyone preview Asteroids on Samsung Gear VR headset.
