The Paley Center for Media continued PaleyFest LA 2026 Friday evening with Netflix’s global hit “Emily in Paris” at the Dolby Theatre, bringing together the series’ beloved cast and creative team for a vibrant evening of fashion, romance, and behind-the-scenes insight.
The event featured red carpet arrivals, a special screening, and a conversation with creator, executive producer, and writer Darren Starr; executive producer and director Andrew Fleming; star and executive producer Lily Collins; and stars Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, and Lucien Laviscount, moderated by PEOPLE’S Janine Rubenstein.
Fans were treated to a special screening followed by a lively discussion celebrating the show’s signature style, fan-favorite characters, and global appeal. The cast and creative team shared insights into the series’ storytelling, on-screen relationships, and the creative vision that continues to make “Emily in Paris” a cultural phenomenon.
On how the series continues to resonate across multiple seasons, Starr explained, “You have to keep the characters evolving and changing in order to keep it interesting to the audience and think about what makes these characters grow.”
The growth is reflected in Emily’s journey, with Collins sharing, “I was really excited for things not to work out for me… I was craving more of that,” adding that playing a “messier” version of her character was “really freeing.”
”We started six years ago,” Bravo added. “Now we are completely different human beings. I have no memories of who I was when I started the show.”
The panel concluded with a tease of Season 6, with Starr exclaiming, “I can promise it’s going to be the best season yet.”
