Bionic Buzz® got to cover The Royal Society St. George California Annual Awards Celebrations and Honors Event. The Royal Society St George California held their Annual Awards Celebrations and Honors event along with The UNA/USA Inland Empire Chapter at locally owned and operated Upper West Restaurant in Santa Monica where award-winning first-class Chef Nick Shipp showed off his culinary talents with special parings of Champagnes and wines and with a VVIP selected menu.

Chef Nick’s menus are always evolving and includes ingredients sourced locally from the Santa Monica Farmers market as well as local farmers such as Weiser FarmsNiman RanchJimenez Family Farm, and Harries Berries. Chef, Nick Shipp, has been described by food critics as a “mad scientist, where no two dining experiences are ever alike.”

As the 55 attendees entered Upper West Restaurant a warm personal VVIP greetings awaited them from Her Excellency Ratu Muda Princess Karen Cantrell, The Chairman of The Royal Society St George California. Her Excellency is a direct descendant of H.G. Duke John of Gaunt – 4th son of Edward III, King of England and Henry de Bohun, Earl of Hereford. Her 2-piece Gemma Khan ensemble in black and gold resonated style and sophistication.

The flowing Champagne Reception was filled with Holiday Cheer, Music, and with passed sumptuous hors d’ oeuvres. The décor was “Glam” Holiday” with a 14-foot decorated Christmas tree, sparking silver wreaths, a ceiling filled with large colorful Christmas ornaments, and table decorations in glamorous yet warm style. One could not help to mention the Gold Crown place card holders with each guest’s name in calligraphy. The gift bags for each attendee were simply “over the top” with Champagne, Chocolate truffles, Italian Panettone, and other delights!

Interviews with Officers, Trustees, Honorary Members and Award recipients were held on The Red Carpet.

Philippe Milgrom, US Ambassador for Confrérie du Sabre d’Or sabered the Champagne and along with Christopher A. Chambers – Lord of Skighaugh held The Official Toast to Patron King Charles III.

Her Excellency Ratu Muda Princess Karen Cantrell stated, “Today, excitement galore! We are experiencing award celebrations for Humanitarian awards, and the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Awards from the White House. We have beautiful recipients who have put more than 2,000 hours this past year of volunteer service to their fellow man, and we are so excited and so proud of them. The Royal Society of St. George keeps to its mission, and we are so thankful for dedicated people who care about others in a very true way.”

Lifetime USA Presidential Volunteer Service Award Honorees included Lena Evans, Maryanne Parker, James L.P. Jackson II, Sir Laurent Khaiat, Judith Flex Helle, Marquis John Andrew Blakemore, and Miranda Kramer.

Christopher Loverro, Professor Michael Atar, Lena Evans, Maryanne Parker, James L.P. Jackson II, Sir Laurent Khaiat, Judith Flex Helle, Marquis John Andrew Blakemore, Miranda Kramer and Trustee H.R.H. Don Leopold Isu Nisnoni, Raja of Kupang and Liurai of Sonbai-Kecil received Humanitarian Awards from The United Nations Association United States of America. President Ike M. I. Khamisani presenter.

Professor Michael Atar and Christopher Loverro received the coveted Medal of Honor from The Royal Society of St George California for their Services to Mankind.

The RSSG American Culture Award was presented to LABA (The Los Angeles and Beverly Arts) Blue-chip artist Jiannan Huang via live video feed in China.
