The LOT, Fashion Island, Newport Beach — Bionic Buzz® covered the red carpet at the hottest party in town – the exclusive screening and reception for award-winning feature film “Sarogeto” by Director / Writer Nico Santucci. The festivities were part of a full evening as the screening was followed by an exclusive VIP private party, and we have all the details! Our Jackie Lewis Media team whisked celebrities through the throngs of photographers with talent escort Rob Miller and producer Melanie Noir, making sure every guest received star treatment on the red carpet! We talked with guests about what brought them out for the evening and beyond the glam, serious topics raised within the movie itself that are so important today: mental illness, spirituality, and depression.

Flashbulbs went off as our local stars of “The Real Housewives of OC” — Peggy Tanous, Lynne Curtin, Tammy Knickerbocker, Noella Bergeron, Jeana Keough, Kelly Dodd-Leventhal and her husband Rick Leventhal. Jim Ellis (The Film Hub), Brady Bunte and Dr. Katherine Ahn representing OC Cares were all in attendance. (We looked hi and low for Fabio, Eric Roberts and Winsor Harmon III on the tip sheet!)

The event was held in partnership with OC Cares – supporting their mission to provide students with the vision necessary to identify the needs in their communities and to prepare them with the essential business skills they need to address those needs with a social impact.

We also spotted “Vanderpump Rules” star and GM of Sur Restaurant Peter Madrigal holding court with Kimberlin Brown and her beautiful daughter Alexas. (More on THAT, later…;)

Sarogeto explored the impact of a father’s choices, which then influenced a mother’s choices later when faced with the unthinkable. What would you do if it were you? The film asked that very question and guests were nonstop chattering during the Q & A with the cast.

Later in the evening, after the viewing – the crowd gathered again at a swanky private mansion for an after-party that ran into the wee hours…we managed to cover the action inside the gates.
The after party continued with the mixing and mingling of guests Peggy Tanous, Angelica Bridges, Peter Madrigal, Nico Santucci and many more…what a blast!
