State Champs’ performance at the House of Blues in Orlando was nothing short of electric. From the moment they took the stage, it was clear that the band had hit a new level of energy and maturity, especially with the introduction of their latest self-titled album. The crowd was buzzing with anticipation, and the band delivered on every front.

The new tracks from State Champs sounded absolutely stellar live. “Silver Cloud” kicked off the set with its anthemic chorus, and you could feel the crowd instantly connecting with the song’s emotional intensity. The raw, gritty energy that the band brought to the track translated perfectly from the studio to the stage. The dual vocals of Derek and Tyler were pitch-perfect, harmonizing seamlessly on the hooks and providing an extra layer of depth to songs like “Clueless” and “Too Late to Say.”

What was particularly impressive was how well the newer songs fit within the context of the band’s discography. Tracks like “Hell of IT” and “Save Face Story” blended effortlessly with fan favorites from Around the World and Back and The Finer Things. The crowd’s excitement never wavered, and there was this undeniable synergy between the band and their audience. It was clear that the emotional weight of the lyrics resonated with everyone in the room, and the atmosphere felt like a shared, cathartic experience.

The House of Blues Orlando at Disney Springs, with its intimate yet vibrant vibe, was the perfect setting for State Champs to showcase their growth as a band. The band’s passion and commitment to their craft were on full display, and it’s hard not to see their new album as a huge step forward for them both musically and personally.

Overall, the night was a celebration of what State Champs has accomplished over the years, and their newest songs are undoubtedly some of the best they’ve ever written. If their performance in Orlando was any indication, these songs are going to be sticking around for a long time.
