Bionic Buzz® got to cover Simple Creatures live last night The Belasco Theater in Downtown Los Angeles. The concert took place in the upstairs lounge which is usually the VIP area for events at the theater. So it was a very inmate feeling concert which made everyone feel like a VIP. Especially since it was the super group or should I say super due;s first concert. Simple Creatures is made up Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus and All Time Low’s Alex Gaskarth. While both come from “pop-punk” royalty, Simple Creatures explores their love for electronic music like Depeche Mode while still keeping their famous harmonies from their own bands.
They even performed a cover of Depeche Mode’s ‘Personal Jesus” last night. The high energy set featured confetti, light show, images behind the due featuring artwork from the EP and lyric video. You can check out the lyric video for their single Drug. There was even a photo booth with the pill at the event. Seriously more concerts need photo booths at them.
