Bionic Buzz® got to cover New Found Glory live at the House of Blues in Orlando on October 17th. The “Pop Punk’s Still Not Dead Tour” featured NFG along with on Less Than Jake, Hot Mulligan, and Lolo! While the tour originally had Simple Plans on the bill, because of the rise in the covid variant, they unfortunately had to drop off and replaced by Less Than Jake.

NFG was supporting their latest album (their 10th album) now called Forever And Ever x Infinity…And Beyond!!! The new and improved version features 6 new songs on the album which takes it to 21 songs for 2021! “The Last Red-Eye”, “The Devil Has Many Faces” and “New Abnormal” were all written during the downtime of the pandemic. Also included are “Ferris Wheel” and “Backseat” which were ideas that were never completed from the original album sessions and a rework of “Puzzles”!

The packaging is an awesome hand-drawn makeover of the entire album done by the talented Chad Lawson. The vinyl version is a gatefold double vinyl with an etching on the back of disc 2. The insert of the record is a separate zine designed and created by us featuring lyrics, drawings, and photos. You all have been playing the heck out of this record and showing it so much love over the last year and now that we actually get to tour it soon we wanted reignite its energy and fire! Ready to rock it in your faces!

Because of the lockdown, NFG plans to tour and celebrate their 20 Year Anniversary of our Self-Titled album were lost. Seeing as they have two nights booked at House of Blues in Orlando, they wanted to do something special for Florida. So they play Self-Titled all the way through since they couldn’t in 2020! As a huge fan of their album, it brought back so many great memories. Their Self-Titled album featured hits like “Dress to Kill” and “Hit or Miss” (see above).

I was shocked to see that lead singer Jordan Pundik had a broken foot. I excepted to see him in a rock throne like Dave Grohl had when he had a broken leg. However you coudln’t tell he had a broken foot with his high energy live performance. You can check out concert photos below to see his cast around his foot. By Steve Sievers.
