Spoiler free review. Lord of Chaos can best be described as the darkness heaviest film noir movie I have ever seen. These characters go deeper down the rabbit hole but not because of a girl but fame or what they think is staying true to the Norwegian black metal “music scene” that they have created. I was on the edge of my seat with my mouth dropped while watching this masterpiece. The whole movie which can be described as an insanely good bloody time.

The craziest thing is that these insane things in the movie…really happened! Church burning, dead pig heads on stage, stabbing, cults, cutting yourself on stage, and more during the mid 80’s – early 90’s. What really caries the movie is actor Rory Culkin (Signs, Castle Rock) performance of main character Euronymous. You really feel for his character, even at times when you really REALLY shouldn’t at all.

If you are passionate fan of film noir, horror, metal music then Lord’s of Chaos is a must see for you. Arrives in select theaters February 8th and On Demand February 22nd. No you don’t have to be a Norwegian black metal fan to enjoy the movie. By @SteveSievers
