Bionic Buzz® interviewed Brian McShea, lead vocalist and guitarist for the alternative band Good Terms, at Will’s Pub in Orlando, Florida. We talked about the band’s first headline tour, celebrating the deluxe release of their album Burnout, what songs were added to their setlist, their passionate fans, and what’s next for the band.

Alternative band Good Terms is excited to announce that they will be taking the stage at Vans Warped Tour 2026, marking the band’s first time ever performing at the historic festival. They’ll be performing in Long Beach, CA (July 25-26) and Orlando, FL (November 14-15), joining already illustrious lineups including: Glassjaw, The Starting Line, Cartel, Daisy Grenade, Hawthorne Heights, Jimmy Eat World, Set It Off, Yelawolf, and more. For more information, please visit: https://www.vanswarpedtour.com/.

The band shares: “Warped Tour is one of those milestones we’ve been building toward for years. It’s a stage with so much history. It’s an institution that has launched countless influential artists who have shaped the scene we grew up in. So to have our name added to that list means a lot. We’re gonna hit Warped with every ounce of energy we’ve got.”

Good Terms recently released Burnout Deluxe, an extended edition of their 2024 breakout album Burnout. The record features recent single “Progress” as well as a newly released single titled “All In”. Fans can purchase a vinyl copy of Burnout Deluxe – limited to 500 copies – here, or stream the album here.

The band is currently on the road for their headlining Highway To Hell Yeah Brother tour, presented by 23Punk. The tour kicked off earlier this month, and has stops remaining in Boston, Brooklyn, Nashville, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and more. About Good Terms:

Good Terms released Burnout less than a year ago and became a record that dismantled any preconceptions of who they are and what they sound like. The band dove headfirst into every unorthodox influence imaginable, putting every musical option back on the table. Burnout is anxious, hopeful, confused, angsty, joyous, loving, regretful, pissed, wistful, sincere, and cathartic. It juxtaposes moments that feel like the sonic recreation of the “dread meme” with others that feel like the triumphant ending of The Land Before Time. The album will have you clearing your sinuses from extreme levels of stank face, dusting off your old air guitar, wanting to do spin kicks in your living room, reconnecting with your younger self, and wishing you’d taken an extra bite of your crazy aunt’s special brownie. It’s mosh-ready, 420-friendly, and hell-yeah-brother approved.

Then on a spring day this May, magic happened. “Progress” exploded onto the scene, landing heavy radio spins on SiriusXM, editorial playlisting across all major streaming platforms and quickly amassing 1M+ streams globally in just 4 months. “Progress” immediately grew to number 1 across all platforms and became the new staple and lost leader for Good Terms. “Progress” explores the emotional challenge of perseverance when on the brink of burnout. The song was inspired in part by vocalist Brian McShea and fiancée Stephanie Raynor, who lost their home earlier this year in the California wildfires. Their story captured national attention, and the outpouring of love and support reminded the couple—and their extended Good Terms family—of the importance of community.

The biggest years are ahead for Good Terms without a doubt. Beginning in 2026 they are headlining across North America on their Highway To Hell Yeah Brother Tour (presented by 23Punk), with more shows to be announced soon. Burnout and “Progress” growth in the last year compelled Good Terms to release BURNOUT DELUXE which includes all songs from Burnout, their new poster hit song “Progress” and a new song titled “All In”, which is the focus track and album opener to the forthcoming deluxe release and added to heavy rotation on SiriusXM Faction Punk a full month before its release exclusively. “All In” is produced and mixed by Anton Delost and is the first song Good Terms have ever partnered with an outside producer. The track is a perfect embodiment of the energy of Burnout and “Progress”. BURNOUT DELUXE will be accompanied with a limited edition vinyl (/500) and a music video for “All In”.
