Cool Zoo begun as an advisory and consulting agency to Zoological Parks, Theme Parks, Water Parks, FECs, and Resorts. As a passion project, the DeBerry Family elected to build the largest hermit crab sanctuary, rescuing thousands of crabs from death. With more than a decade of experience as executives in the zoological and attraction space, including at the iconic Silver Springs and Wild Waters, among others, the family begun to expand educational offerings and the Zoo was born. Cool Zoo is an independently operated and privately funded wildlife encounter experience, wholly owned by the DeBerry Family Irrevocable Trust.
