Bionic Buzz® covered San Diego Comic-Con 2026, where we were invited to experience the “Lanterns Training Headquarters” activation!
Inspired by Rushville, Nebraska, this guided training journey challenged us to prove our fearlessness and determine whether we had what it takes to wear the ring. After receiving a briefing from the Guardians, we faced target practice, trust-based challenges, maze navigation, and escape-room-style mysteries inside immersive locations such as the Sheriff’s office and a local dive bar.

The immersive fan experience inspired by STUART FAILS TO SAVE THE UNIVERSE invited San Diego Comic-Con attendees to step inside the show’s expanding multiverse. The activation brought Stuart’s “The Comic Center of Pasadena” to life, transforming the familiar comic book store from THE BIG BANG THEORY universe into the starting point for a portal-hopping adventure.
The detailed recreation immediately made the experience feel familiar to longtime fans while introducing the larger and more unpredictable world of the new series. After entering the comic book store, guests traveled through a portal and encountered a series of interactive, story-driven moments tied to different characters and worlds from the show.
The journey culminated in a personality-based reveal that challenged each participant to discover their hero archetype. Depending on their choices, guests were connected with a character from the series and received a personalized collectible to take home.
The activation also featured entertaining photo opportunities, a replica machine from the show, and exclusive merchandise. By combining recognizable elements from THE BIG BANG THEORY with the new show’s multiverse concept, the experience gave fans a fun and accessible introduction to Stuart’s latest adventure.
