WildBrain’s Strawberry Shortcake is teaming up with The Animal Pad, a SanDiego-based all-breed dog rescue, for the Purrfect Pets Pawp-Up, a one-day pet adoption event that invites families and animal lovers to enjoy a day of fun and four-legged friends while helping rescue pets find their “furever” homes.
Open to the public for free and hosted by WildBrain’s Strawberry Shortcake at Malibu Farm San Diego (in Seaport Village), this event invites guests to also bring their own purrfect pets and enjoy a “berry sweet” afternoon of fun activities, including:
- Meet-and-greets with the Strawberry Shortcake mascot
- Opportunities to meet adoptable rescue dogs
- Picture-purrfect photo opps
- Exclusive surprise giveaways
- Signature treats, including pet-friendly “pupcakes” from Magnolia Bakery
- Strawberry Shortcake-themed activities
- Additional sweet surprises for guests and their pets
