If you happened to miss America’s Got Talent’s first-ever AGT TikTok LIVE Showcase this past Tuesday, AGT partnered with TikTok to spotlight standout talent who performed on the social media platform, while encouraging others to sign up to audition for the next season of the world’s biggest talent competition. Below are key highlights from the showcase and what you may have missed.

  • The first ever hour-long AGT TikTok LIVE Showcase happened on Tuesday, 1/27 at 6pm PT, and will run for another two weeks on Tuesday evenings with a new guest host each week.
  • AGT Season 11 alum Sofie Dossi joined AGT Digital Producer Ever Pabon to host the showcase, featuring performances by Freekbass (@Freekbass), Emerald Gordon Wulf (@theemeraldgordonwulf), Senses(@SensesTheBand), and more—streamed live to a global audience.
  • Surprise appearances included season 9 winner and Las Vegas–headlining magician Mat Franco, currently in residence on the Strip, alongside social media sensation Ross Smith.
  • The showcase received 5.3M impressions and over 71K views across the stream on TikTok.
  • AGT collaborated with TikTok LIVE, allowing viewers to engage in the showcase experience through special “Golden Buzzer” LIVE Gifts. Whenever a “Golden Buzzer” gift is given, viewers’ screens light up with the iconic “Golden Buzzer” and cascading confetti, visually mirroring the moment fans know from America’s Got Talent.
  • Next week’s (2/3) guest host is season 20 winner, singer Jessica Sanchez. Jessica won the competition last summer after performing in the finale while nine months pregnant.

All acts of any age are encouraged to apply now to be on the next season of AGT – interested acts can submit a video of their talent at www.AGTAuditions.com by February 21.

Next AGT TikTok Live on Tuesday, 2/3 at 6pm PT via the AGT TikTok account (@AGT), as well as the ongoing virtual auditions.
