The song is the first chapter in the Stray Cat Trilogy, a creative project inspired by heartbreak and renewal. Stray Cat captures the raw emotions that come when someone you love drifts away, leaving you with questions, pain, and the feeling of being forgotten. It speaks to anyone who has ever felt abandoned by someone they trusted, whether that was a partner, a friend, or a loved one, and the struggle to hold on to hope when love has faded.

The music video, the second chapter of the trilogy, builds on that message by showing how hope can arrive even in the darkest moments. It follows a man who falls from the sky to bring sight to the blind, compassion to the homeless, and hope to the broken. Through powerful and symbolic imagery, it reflects the idea that light can reach anyone, no matter how far they have fallen.

The Stray Cat Trilogy will conclude later this year with a limited-edition comic book revealing who the man of the sky truly is and completing the story of loss, faith, and restoration. Part of the proceeds from the comic will benefit a charity of Klypso’s choosing, continuing his mission to bring light to those most in need.

At its core, the Stray Cat Trilogy is about resilience, renewal, and the belief that love and faith remain the greatest powers of all.

BIO:

From a garage in Mountain View to the world’s biggest stages, Grammynominated artist, producer, and songwriter Klypso has built his career on grit, hustle, and fearless reinvention. He started as a teen in the Bay Area, working with hip-hop legends like E-40, Too Short, and Mac Dre, before moving to Los Angeles at 17 to train under Dr. Dre. His breakout moment came when he earned a Grammy nomination for producing Lupe Fiasco’s Best Rap Album of the Year — a milestone that stamped his name in hip-hop history. Klypso went on to produce for 50 Cent and electrified stadiums across the country as Flo Rida’s DJ. In 2022, he stepped into his power as an artist with his independent smash Low Rider “No Lighter”, a culture-shifting anthem featuring Snoop Dogg, Dogface, War, Cheech & Chong, and George Lopez. Released through his own label, Space Monkey Entertainment, the track proved his ability to move culture on his own terms. Now, Klypso is stepping into his boldest era yet. His new single “Stray Cat” drops this October, setting the stage for his first full EP in early 2026. The follow-up single, “Tangled,” is already lined up to push his evolution even further — from hit-making producer to full-fledged artist with a message and sound that demand to be heard.
