Walt Disney World has announced a release date for new roller coaster TRON Lightcycle / Run! This will be the faster coaster at a Walt Disney World park and just like the TRON: Lightcyle Power Run coaster at Shanghai Disneyland. The ride is based on the 2010 movie: TRON: LEGACY, where Sam Flynn has opened a second gateway to the Grid, a digital realm. When you enter the queue of the ride, you will feel like you have been digitized and transported the the Grid. Riders will race against the Grid’s sinister Programs through eight Energy Gates, as part of Team Blue. You will have to store your items in a locker but that will be provided by Disney.
Make your travel plans now as TRON Lightcycle / Run opens at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom on April 4.
