Bionic Buzz® got to interview the director, writer & producer of HAPPILY, BenDavid Grabinski. We talked to him about where his passion for filmmaking came from then got into this his very unique amazing film HAPPILY.
It is dark romantic comedy. Tom and Janet have been happily married for years. But a visit from a mysterious stranger leads to a dead body, a lot of questions, and a tense couples’ trip with friends who may not actually be friends at all.
We talked to BenDavid about his amazing cast Joel McHale (Community & The Soup), Kerry Bishé (Narcos, Argo) and Stephen Root (Office Space, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story). We loved the sound design in the film, we learned how one of BenDavid’s tattoo helped get Twin Peaks’ sound designer, Dean Hurley to do the same for this amazing film. Lastly we talked about the unique editing from Spencer Houck.
