Actress María Russell Is Back To Protect & To Serve On truTV’s Tacoma F.D.

Actress María Russell joins legendary comedy troupe Broken Lizard as feisty Lt. Salazar on Season 2 of truTV’s highest rated comedy Tacoma F.D. As a police officer in the Tacoma P.D. trying to work along firemen, Lt., Salazar (Russell) is there to protect, serve and draw the proverbial lines on the sand. This self-proclaimed “Mexiuanian” (Mexican and Lithuanian) is a proud, native California girl. She has danced her entire life and has a background in classical ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and salsa. Tacoma is a city in Washington state, on the banks of Puget Sound, south of Seattle. The city adopted its name after the nearby Mount Rainier, originally called Mount Tahoma.
