Bionic Buzz® own Steve Sievers attended D23 Derezzed – A TRON 40th Dance Party at the House of Blues San Diego last Friday after San Diego Comic-Con. The event featured two DJ sets, light food provided and everyone got a free drink ticket. Next door in the foundation room was turned into Flynn’s arcade. Featuring the famous logo from both Tron movies and all arcade games were free for users! There were plenty of fun photo ops for users to take pics with fellow cosplayers. Even when you weren’t dancing or playing arcade games, there were couches to relax after a long day on your feet. Check out photos below from Steve Sievers.
This event was put on by D23: The Official Disney Fan Club of The Walt Disney Company. Founded in 2009, the organization is known mainly for its biennial exposition event, the D23 Expo. The name D23 refers to D for Disney and 23 for 1923, which is the year Walt Disney founded the company. Membership is in two levels: free and gold. Membership includes Disney twenty-three (a quarterly publication), yearly gifts, events, exclusive merchandise offers, and discount and early access to the D23 Expo fan convention.
