Bionic Buzz® got to interview comic book artist, writer, and creator Rob Liefeld. We talked about where his passion for comics came from, what he thought of Marvel Studio’s Black Widow, his Snake Eyes: Deadgame comic book series, X-Force Anniversary signing tour coming to Florida, inspiration for his creation CABLE, upcoming X-Force: Kill Shot!, Deadpool 30th anniversary covers and more fun stories! The fifth issue finale features an All-Star list of comic book legends providing inks and finishes to Rob’s penciled art. Not satisfied with just putting together an All-Star team, Rob decided to round out the cast by adding legendary artist and creator Kevin Eastman (TMNT), Ryan Ottley (Invincible, Amazing Spider-Man), Eric Canete (Justice League), and Karl Kerschl (Deadpool, Superman).
Not content with this unparalleled assemblage of All-Star talents, Liefeld wanted to take the event one step further. The Deadpool creator enlisted the Living Legend of G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero, Larry Hama. Rob will ink over Larry Hama’s pencils for a special once-in-a-lifetime collectible cover event.
X-FORCE: KILLSHOT! The special one-shot will feature an explosive adventure starring Cable and his mighty militant mutant squad, taking readers back to the beloved 90s heyday of the X-Men franchise. Cable and his counterparts will assemble five separate X-Force squadrons, from various points in time, to converge on Asteroid S for an all-out assault to defeat Stryfe once and for all.
